We are registered in England and Wales with our registered office at Parsonage Farm, Dewlish, Dorset DT2 7NB. By accessing or using this Site you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy . The Christmas Decorators (Franchising) Limited, a company registered in England with the registration number 06300161, and Xdex Limited, also a company registered in England with the registration number 05701153, both of which are hereinafter referred to as “TCD” take your privacy seriously and we act, and will continue to act in full compliance with all current UK and EC data law and directives. By using our website and services you are agreeing to us collecting and processing your data in the manner described below.
GDPR COMPLIANCE
“TCD” complies with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Where required, before we send you emails promoting our products and services we will ask you for your consent, and an audit trail we will record when you gave consent and from which email address or contact telephone number you provided, we are registered under the UK Data Protection Act, registration number ZA259238.
COLLECTING AND USING PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you contact us directly either by telephone, email, or our enquiry form and give us your personal contact details for the purpose of providing you with further information about our services and pricing, then we’ll hold that data in our own externally provided CRM system (Client Relationship Management) Our external CRM service provider is fully compliant with the GDPR and is registered with the ICO, registered number Z951270X and you can be certain that any data stored in our CRM is safe and secure.
At certain times of the year, due to the volume of enquiries, we utilise a call centre (The Contact People) to handle incoming telephone enquiries, the call centre will ask you for some non-sensitive information which will be relayed to TCD via email to our network of regional franchised branches. Our external call centre service provider is fully compliant with the GDPR and is registered with the ICO, registered number Z95798728

We will not use any data provided by you to further market our services to you unless we have obtained your permission in advance although we may use the information to follow up on enquiries we have received and request answers to unanswered emails. We will hold your information securely in our CRM for a reasonable period of time unless you ask us not to at any time by emailing margi@thechristmasdecorators.com
We will hold your personal information securely and safely from unauthorised access. If you would like a copy of your personal information or that information deleted, please email margi@thechristmasdecorators.com
We don’t share any information about you, provided by you or obtained from any other source, including but not limited to referrals from your neighbours, friends or family who believe you would be interested in receiving details of the products and services we can provide to you, with anyone outside our company and own network of regional franchised branches, and we certainly will not pass it to third parties for them to contact you.
LEGAL REQUESTS FOR DATA ACCESS
We will only grant access to personal information if compelled to do so by a UK court or under UK legislation. Requests from other governmental agencies will be politely declined. Requests for data from any other source will be refused.
